Chanel is pointed in the AKC ring and is working on a Grand Championship in UKC. Chanel loves working as a Therapy dog. She has such a connection with the patients and seems to know what they are needing.  One particular visit there was a man in his wheel chair who kept his head down and his eyes closed.  Chanel kept going back to this guy and she gently kept trying to get her head under his hand. She continued to work her way up his body trying to get a response from him.  She gently touched and sniffed.  Finally she got that smile she so desperatley wanted to see.  Then she was happy and her job was done.  She is such a natural.   

She is currently working in Obedience and we will soon be Competing in both the Rally and Obedience ring.

Elbows - OFA Good

Heart - Normal (tested at the University of Illinois 7/14/05, Echocardigram, ECG, Physical Exam)
